State Specific Scholarships for Single Mothers

For cash strapped single moms around the United States, the only way that they will ever have the option of attending college is via scholarships and grants. Because of their circumstances, there are typically a variety of funds available to them if they just take the time to seek them out.

While in some cases these programs are provided to single mothers based upon degree program, minority status or income levels, several others are available simply based upon the state that they live in. In virtually every one of the fifty states, there is a scholarship program available to single moms who are desperate need of a college level education.

In general, these scholarships require not just that the applicant reside in the specified state but that they also attend college in that same state.
